I like blogging.
I really like blogging.
And I like telling other people about blogging. And why they should blog.
So I’ve been hemming and hawing and hemming some more about writing down some of my thoughts more formally, and I am finally ready to bite the bullet. The influence of Savvy Blogging and the on-going conversations with my Blissdom blogger buddies have only fueled the fire. Buying 31 Days to Build a Better Blog excited me more, convincing me that I really did know some things and really did have a unique perspective to share. And so I started, slowly, to write some posts. Like this tiny one.
But it’s time to go bigger.
I’m going to write a series about how to blog.
And I need a title for the series.
Here’s the deal: I get lots of questions about how to write a blog. I get lots of questions about why I write a blog. I get lots of questions about if this blog really pays the bills. Now – it’s time to answer them.
And then I get more questions.
And some more.
Questions like:
- Do you use blogger or wordpress?
- How much time do you spend every day blogging?
- What made you start your blog?
- How did you pick your blog niche?
- How do you get pictures for your blog?
- Do you run out of ideas?
- Do you really get paid to do this?
- Who pays you anyway?
- How much do you make?
- How did you learn to do this?
I love answering readers via email, but there must be a better way. And there is. I’ve taken all my spare time (joke) to write up a lot of text on how to blog. I’m now parsing it down into ten lessons (yes, I’m a fan of ten-week lessons, hence the ten-week free coupon course). I’m nearly ready to start posting. But there’s one problem.
What do I call this thing?
Yes, what do I name this blogging series of sorts I’ll be starting?
Here are some less-than-stellar options:
- How to Blog series
- Blogging for Beginners
- Job Blogging
- Blogging for Real
- Income Blogging
Yeah, I know, these aren’t such great titles. So do you have one? Leave a comment – I’m ready to post lesson #1 but I need a title first!

All of the suggestions sound good to me. By the time you make one long inclusive list of all the names suggested and call that your title you won’t have any room to write anything.
I wish you great luck on it and hope you enjoy it.

BTW, I’m totally interrested in reading it. Let us know when you have it going.

I really enjoy your Saving Money Plan website and the savings that you have posted. I can’t wait to read your how to blog series. I’ve also wanted to start a blog too, but not sure if anyone would be interested. You’ve gotten a lot of good ideas already and I can’t think of another.
