Extreme Couponing: The Basics

With the full series of Extreme Couponing starting tonight, I know I’ll be getting a lot more questions than usual about how to coupon, why to coupon, and what on earth Extreme Couponing is.

If you want to learn, I’ll be starting a new Coupon Class to teach folks how it works. Check out the introduction and sign up here.

In the interim, here are two videos that give an overview:

Video 1: The Basics of Couponing: How to Save Big Dollars, Not Pennies

Video 2: Why You Coupon — The Freebie Stockpile

Wow i guess i am lucky ! in my area my local library gets a city wide free paper that has all the sdnuay inserts in it. So i get the Sunday paper and i only have to get one and then everyone Wed. I can go and get as many as i want. So if you lie in Broward County Florida keep an eye out

  6. Elke says:

How do or where can I get a stock pile of coupons? I can only print so many online and you only get a single copy of the ones in the paper. I have asked all the people I know, and that’s not too many because I’m a stay at home mom. I also would like to know where I can get past coupons. I can see then in the database, but I’m not allowed to print them. Can someone please give me so help, or at least some good information? As I said, I’m a stay at home mom not by choice, but I’m disable and my husband makes too much money for any kind of help even though we can’t make our bills and can’t even afford a bankruptcy!!!HELP

You can search for coupon sites like wholecouponinserts.com and purchase back coupons as full inserts and usually in bundles. when i miss my P&G coupons i end up ordering them. it takes about 4 days from the time you order til you get them so it works great on cvs or walgreens sales that last from sun to sat. hope that helps! google has saved my butt more times than i wish to count trying to find coupons also. and if your local library has several computers with printing available, hit as many as you can in a day and get the printables you want!

  7. Janet says:

Hello there, I hope you are well. I represent Mather and Stuart who spicailese in emergency electricity generators.I am enquiring about writing a guest post for your site, which would provide relevant, non-promotional information for your readers and contain a link back to our client’s website. The article will be a high quality, informative, well researched piece between 300 – 500 words. The article itself would be written by our expert content team, and of course be unique. Does this sound like something you’d be interested in?Kindest regards,Rick Walker

Dear Elke, This is what I do. I go to a true dollar store where everything is only one dollar. They sell an early addition of the newspaper on Saturdays. I buy 10 every week. This gives me 10 coupons from the paper which works out great for items that go on sale 10 for $10. I get 10 items free and it builds my stock pile rather quickly. I don’t know what state you are in but feel free to e-mail me and I am more than happy to help you all I can. My e-mail is ascarim@yahoo.com Please put in the subject line “promised coupon help” so I know it is not junk mail. Good luck, and hope to hear from you.

  9. Tammy says:

Hello, my name is Tammy and I am trying to figure this couponing out. I understand price matching and using the initial coupon. I just can’t figure out the multiple transactions and such. How can you buy 108 of something. Please help, my husband owns his own business and we have a toddler at home. I just wish I could really figure out how to make this work!

  10. Hello! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My site looks weird when viewing from my iphone4. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin
that might be able to resolve this issue. If you have any recommendations, please share.
    Thank you!

  11. We’re a group of volunteers in addition to beginning a brand new design in the community. Your site provided us with beneficial information to function in. You’ve got completed an outstanding work and also the entire class will most likely be glad back.

  12. Great introduction. My wife and I have tried a little bit of the extreme side, but are far from experts on the subject. We are truly amazed at how much you can get for free!
