Confession time: I’m a reader. I love books.
I repeat: I. Love. Books.
It’s a part of my personality I’ve learned to love, adore, and – at times – flaunt. Yes, it means that I’m a bit more introverted than most, but that’s the okay with me. Books are worth that price.
I also love goals, and every year I set a goal for myself to read 100 books. Sure, I don’t always make it. But it’s always there.
So what have I read lately that I particularly liked?
- A Midwife’s Tale: The Life of Martha Ballard, Based on Her Diary, 1785-1812
- The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind: Creating Currents of Electricity and Hope
- Stones into Schools: Promoting Peace with Books, Not Bombs, in Afghanistan and Pakistan
- And the Sea Will Tell
- Where Men Win Glory: The Odyssey of Pat Tillman

for those who love to read as much as i do… you should check out swaptree.com. you can trade books/cds/dvd/computer games that you already have for books/cds/dvd/computer games that you want. there is no membership cost. all you have to do is pay for postage. it’s a beautiful thing.
you can also check out bookcrossing.com.
